Transmissions

A series I did awhile back on communication. I used satellites and the urban vernacular of milwaukee to express the ideas of communication through invisible waves. It's a continuous series, this particular one is an double exposure with a 6x7 back for a mamiya super press, e-6.

Milwaukee, WI

muted matching tones(blue mimic each other in tarp, machiney, sky. flat white tons, burgandies repeated) cropped uncomfortably, technology invades with phone wires, boat, car, etc. nature becoming covered up. old corn cilo in middle. crack in foreground leading to crack of door, etc etc etc. still a sense of emptiness/something missing.
